(Baonghean.vn) - "Currently, the upgrading and renovation projects of Cao Thang Street are gradually being completed. Depending on actual conditions, the city will organize the opening of the night street from September 26 to 28, 2019" - Mr. Tran Quang Lam, Head of Vinh City Economic Department said.

The leader of Vinh City's Economic Department added that after 6 months of preparing procedures, developing plans and upgrading items... Vinh City is currently rushing to complete the infrastructure renovation for the night street.

Cao Thang Street will have 114 business locations, specifically: From Vinh market intersection to Nguyen Xien street intersection, there will be 70 business locations including: ready-made clothing stores, synthetic footwear stores, leather goods, bags, briefcases, hats of all kinds, souvenir stores of all kinds.

From Nguyen Xien intersection to Hong Son - Cao Thang intersection, there are 44 business locations, including refreshment, snack, and local specialty stores.

Mr. To Thanh Nhan - Head of Vinh Market Management Board said: Up to now, more than 114 households in Vinh city have registered to sell goods at the night street, mainly Vinh market traders and people in Vinh city, there are no cases of traders from other districts coming to register. It is expected that there will be many delicious dishes sold at the night street such as dishes made from eel, chicken, beef: eel soup porridge, chicken porridge, chicken with pennywort, roast pork, grilled food, hot pot, fish noodles...

The city also requires businesses in the night streets to behave politely, civilly, and courteously, not to stalk or solicit customers, to sell at the right price, not to sell fake, counterfeit, poor quality, or unknown origin goods, and to ensure food hygiene and safety according to regulations.

According to the plan, Cao Thang night street will operate from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day of the week. After that time, all businesses will stop operating, clean up and return the premises to their original state.
