Traffic police traveled more than 100km to arrest a drug possession suspect

(Baonghean.vn) - Receiving information from the people that a subject was possessing drugs, 3 traffic police officers set out and arrested this subject.

On the afternoon of September 11, the Ho Chi Minh Trail Traffic Police Team, under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province, said: At 5:20 a.m. on September 10, they received a report from the people in Muong Mun village, Muong Noc, Que Phong, that there was a young man showing signs of suspected law violation.

After traveling more than 120km and spending nearly 2 hours, 3 traffic police officers verified the information and followed. At 7am the same day, at Muong Mun village, Muong Noc, Que Phong border district, the working group discovered a subject with the characteristics as reported and conducted an administrative check.

The suspect's name was Quang Van Trung (born in 1974), residing in Tam village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district.

Conducting a body check on the subject Trung, the working group seized in his trouser pocket a small blue plastic bag containing 03 (three) pink tablets weighing 0.3 grams. The subject confessed that the pink tablets were synthetic drugs (pink tablets) that he was storing for use.

Accordingly, the working group drew up a record of the crime, completed the initial records and handed over the subject and evidence to Que Phong District Police for handling according to the law.
