Practical activities to support poor children in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - Handing over playgrounds to children, giving red-scarf chickens to disadvantaged students, and organizing charity concerts to raise funds to help students with serious illnesses are activities for children taking place in localities.

The project was made from locally available waste materials, through the skillful hands of the union members and young people, it became useful items and delighted many teachers and students, with a total cost of 4.3 million VND.
The project is put into use to create an environment for children of Ky Son Kindergarten to have a safe, healthy playground, suitable for their age, helping them have conditions to develop comprehensively in terms of physical, mental and skill development.

Ha Linh Chi is a Thai ethnic, from a poor household. Her family is in difficult circumstances but always achieves good results in studying. Nghia Dan Youth Union gave her a flock of 30 chickens worth 4.5 million VND to encourage and help Linh Chi to excel in her studies.

Tran Thuy Linh's situation is particularly difficult. Her parents separated before she was born, her mother had to leave home to find work, she lives with her grandparents and her aunt who are poor. She herself has bone cancer. Her grandparents and aunt both have mental illnesses and are not as agile and active as normal people. Therefore, Linh's mother is the main breadwinner in the family.
The concert attracted a large number of people to come and support Tran Thuy Linh. Through Facebook and directly attending the charity concert, the organizers received 54 million VND to give to Tran Thuy Linh. It is known that after this concert, Tran Thuy Linh will have the opportunity to continue to go to Hanoi for medical treatment.
