Regarding the problem of surplus teachers and teacher shortage, according to Mr. Dinh Xuan Que - Chairman of the District People's Committee, the district has resolutely solved it over the past year and up to now, the district still has 25 surplus secondary school teachers; however, preschool level is short of 18 teachers and primary level is short of 35 teachers compared to the assigned staff.

Currently, although the district has submitted a request to the province for a policy on recruiting primary school teachers, the shortage has not been resolved. In addition, there are still 41 teachers in the area with contracts from 10 to 15 years and are waiting for policies and mechanisms from higher levels to resolve.

Along with that is the issue of solving the environmental pollution caused by the pig farm of Dai Thanh Loc Company Limited, Nam Hung Commune, Nam Dan District; sand and gravel mining on Lam River; restoration and embellishment of historical and cultural relics, especially Hoanh Son Communal House (Khanh Son Commune); solving the regime of frontline workers...

In addition to the above issues, according to the report of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district, a pressing issue in the district is that there are still more than 2,000 cases that have not been granted land use right certificates due to paperwork problems. Therefore, it is recommended that the province continue to research to resolve administrative procedures...

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien acknowledged the attention of the Party Committee and authorities of Nam Dan district in resolving and urging the resolution of voters' petitions as well as explaining to voters unresolved issues due to difficulties in mechanisms, policies and lack of resources.
