"No one called. I think that the contact between the leaders only takes place in urgent cases. Once again, I want to reiterate that the pace and basis of the consultations that we have with France and Germany will continue, there will be no changes. The cooperation of the three countries remains tight" - Andrei Ermak, assistant to the President of Ukraine, answered in an interview on the "1+1" TV channel, adding that in the near future, the leaders of the countries will have a direct exchange at the "Normandy Format" summit (including 4 countries: Germany, Russia, France, Ukraine).

A July phone call between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has caused a major scandal in Washington recently, and became the main cause leading to the White House owner's official impeachment.

In the transcript of the phone call released, the US leader criticized Germany and other European countries for not providing adequate support to Ukraine. In response, the Ukrainian president agreed with that view and accused France of not complying with the sanctions regime against Russia.

According to an ABC poll released on September 29, more than 60% of Americans believe that the content of the phone call between President Trump and Zelensky is a serious matter.
