3 people found dead in a Mercedes car lying in a canal

While salvaging a car lying at the bottom of a canal, My Tho City Police, Tien Giang Province discovered that two men and one woman had died in the car, the woman of whom was about 7 months pregnant.

On the afternoon of October 2, Lieutenant Colonel Pham The Kim - Deputy Chief of My Tho City Police, Tien Giang Province said that the authorities are urgently investigating the incident of a car lying in a canal with 3 people on board, all of whom died.

According to initial information, at around 12:00 on October 2, people discovered a black car under Ba Ngọt canal, near the central square of Tien Giang province (Dao Thanh commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang province).

Immediately after receiving the report, My Tho City Police coordinated with professional units to investigate and salvage the car; discovered that 2 men and 1 woman were dead in the car.

At nearly 2:00 p.m. on October 2, authorities were removing the bodies from the car and examining the scene.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham The Kim added that among the three victims, there was a woman who was about 7 months pregnant.

My Tho City Police are actively coordinating with relevant agencies to urgently investigate the case.
