'Tin soldier' from Nghe An goes to school on his friend's back for 3 years
(Baonghean) - Chien could not walk on his own two feet. But this “tin soldier” from Nghe An has reached his dream with the miraculous companionship of his teachers and friends.
Nguyen Manh Chien (born 2005) has a congenital curved spine, is just over 1m tall, weighs about 14kg, has difficulty moving, can only walk 2-3 steps before collapsing. However, Chien is very studious and studies well, and his parents create conditions for him to go to class every day.

Since 6th grade, Nguyen Manh Chien has often been carried in and out of class by his two classmates, Phan Ngoc Tam Doan and Nguyen Van Trinh.
