Search continues all night for man suspected of jumping off Ben Thuy Bridge to commit suicide.
(Baonghean.vn) - Bystanders discovered a yellow Zip motorbike with license plate 37A-628.87 left on the motorbike lane of Ben Thuy Bridge, heading from Vinh City to Nghi Xuan District (Ha Tinh Province). The motorbike was later identified as belonging to Mr. L.D.A (born in 1985, residing in Vinh City).
On the night of October 14th and the early morning of October 15th, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) deployed forces and mobilized vehicles to search for a man suspected of jumping off the Ben Thuy Bridge (spanning the Lam River, connecting National Highway 1A between Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces).

Earlier, at around 6:30 PM on October 14th, passersby discovered a yellow Zip scooter with license plate 37A-628.87 left on the motorbike lane of Ben Thuy Bridge, heading from Vinh City to Nghi Xuan District (Ha Tinh Province).

Locals reported the incident to the authorities. The motorbike was later identified as belonging to Mr. L.D.A (born in 1985, residing in Vinh City), who had left it on Ben Thuy Bridge. His relatives tried calling him, but his phone was "unreachable," so they panicked and rushed down to Ben Thuy Bridge to search for him.

Immediately after receiving the report, the authorities, along with local residents and the victim's family, arrived at Ben Thuy Bridge to organize a search for Mr. A in the area beneath the bridge and on the Lam River.
