Chin told everyone to go to the tin mining camp about 80m away in the Hao stream area, Tan Hop commune, exploited by Phu Hung Company Limited, then stop. Chin told Chinh and Diep to stay behind to watch the vehicles and keep an eye on passersby, while Hao, Phong, and Thuong went around the mining camp to turn off the circuit breaker. Chin, Phong, Hung, Thai, Sang, Lam, Hoang, Hao, Tan each carried a bag of ore to the motorbike parking area. Seeing that, Diep went back and put 2 bags of ore on the motorbike with Nguyen Van Hung to take them to Chin's house to hide.
