Young man without a driver's license, caused an accident and then drove away
(Baonghean.vn) - Although he did not have a driver's license, Trinh still asked a friend to rent a car for him to drive himself. When he caused an accident in Vinh city, Trinh reversed the car and fled.
On October 16, Nguyen Van Trinh (born 2002, residing in Hamlet 1, Tam Son Commune, Anh Son District) appeared at the Vinh City Police Department, admitting to his act of fleeing after causing an accident.
According to Trinh, on October 5, he asked his friend Van Ba Dung (born in 1997, residing in Binh Yen block, Hung Binh ward, Vinh city) to rent a car with license plate 37A-581.88 for his use.

At 4:50 a.m. on October 5, 2019, in front of house number 344, Nguyen Trai Street, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City, the car driven by Trinh crashed into the car with license plate 37A-356.42 driven by Ms. Hoang Thi Ai Khue (born in 1961, residing in block 14, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City) which was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Nguyen Trai Street and Mai Lao Bang Street.
The collision damaged the entire rear of Ms. Khue’s car. After causing the accident, Trinh reversed the car and immediately left the scene.

In addition to causing an accident and fleeing, Nguyen Van Trinh also did not have a driver's license. Therefore, we will base on the provisions of the law to handle it strictly, not allowing cases of driving without a driver's license to arise, as well as deterring cases of causing accidents and fleeing that have caused public outrage for a long time.

"In case of an accident and the perpetrator flees, people need to quickly report it to the authorities for timely investigation and handling," said Major Le Dang Khoa - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police.
