Suspect in murder of social security guard Quynh Luu found at Hanoi bus station

On the afternoon of October 21, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police continued to post videos calling on people to provide information about the suspect who murdered a social security guard in Quynh Luu District.

According to the video that the police extracted at the underground bus station in Hanoi, the subject is a short, stocky man, wearing slippers, a short-sleeved shirt, carrying a bag on his back, and limping (possibly injured). Currently, the authorities are still actively verifying and arresting the subject.

As previously reported, at around 6:45 a.m. on October 14, Mr. Dang Ngoc Tho - Director of Quynh Luu District Social Insurance came to work and saw the gate closed. Mr. Tho called the security guard, Mr. Dang Van Thanh (born in 1974, in Quynh Hong Commune), but no one answered. A moment later, Mr. Tho went to the back of the office building and discovered that the security guard had died earlier with multiple head injuries and blood flowing profusely.

Upon receiving the news, Quynh Luu District Police arrived at the scene to collect evidence to investigate the incident. Nghe An Provincial Police also arrived at the scene to investigate and conduct an autopsy.

Images extracted from a security camera in Hoang Mai town were released later, showing that after committing the crime, the suspect, wearing light-colored clothes (like a worker's uniform), rode a motorbike to the back of the Muong Thanh Hoang Mai hotel and apartment complex. This is also the location where the authorities discovered the victim's motorbike abandoned.
