Nghe An: Successfully salvaged bomb from Nam Mo River

On the morning of October 25, the Ky Son District Military Command coordinated with the Engineering Department (Nghe An Province Military Command) to successfully salvage a bomb left over from the war from the Nam Mo River. The bomb will be transported to the destruction site according to regulations.

Previously, on October 20, while fishing, people discovered a bomb lying in the Nam Mo River, in Hom village, Huu Kiem commune (Ky Son district), part of it protruding above the water. The bomb was about 1.2 meters long; the largest diameter was 45 centimeters, weighed 350 kilograms, and the shell was still shiny.
The bomb's location was about 400m from Highway 7. Immediately afterwards, Huu Kiem People's Committee reported to the District People's Committee and the Military Command of Ky Son District.

While waiting for the case to be processed, the authorities have put up signs and assigned guards to ensure safety.
