Catfish is a type of catfish, usually living mainly in fresh water and brackish water in caves along rivers and streams. Catfish is considered the most valuable fish in the western mountainous region of Nghe An. Currently, according to market prices, catfish is about 900 thousand to more than 1 million VND/kg, depending on the size of the fish.
Also because of its great economic value, the number of anchovies on Lam River is decreasing because people hunt them too much.
