At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Binh, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs, presented the appointment decision to Mr. Chu Quang Hai, Director of the Nghe An Customs Department, and announced the retirement of Mr. Chu Quang Luan (Director of the Nghe An Customs Department).

On behalf of the leadership of the General Department of Customs, Deputy Director General Nguyen Cong Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated Mr. Chu Quang Luan's nearly 40 years of dedication and service in the Customs sector. He noted that in every position he held, he consistently performed his duties well and made practical contributions to the development of the Customs sector in general and the Nghe An Customs Department in particular.

The Deputy Director General requested Mr. Chu Quang Hai to continue to inherit and promote the traditions and achievements in all aspects of the unit's work, to unite with the Party Committee and leadership of the Nghe An Customs Department, and to lead and direct the unit to continue to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, the new Director of the Nghe An Customs Department, Chu Quang Hai, acknowledged the directives from the General Department of Customs and the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. He also pledged that in his new position, as the head of the department, he would learn from, inherit, and build upon the achievements of the sector and the experiences of previous generations of leaders. He promised to continue to uphold the spirit of unity and creativity, closely monitor the situation, and quickly work with the leadership of the Nghe An Customs Department to implement key tasks and successfully complete assigned duties.

Also at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc - presented the Decision approving the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Nghe An Customs Department to Comrade Chu Quang Hai.

Chu Quang Hai, Director of the Nghe An Customs Department, was born on October 24, 1973.
