Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended the Great Solidarity Festival with the people of Met village
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day, on November 9, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and celebrated with the people of Met village, Luc Da commune (Con Cuong).

Met Village, Luc Da Commune (Con Cuong) has 218 households with 974 people, most of whom are engaged in agricultural production. Up to now, the number of well-off and rich households in Met Village is increasing, while there are only 22 poor households, accounting for 7.3%; 80% of families have achieved the title of "Cultural Family".
In economic development, there are many households doing well economically, bringing in a good income, reaching 300-400 million VND/year. Implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", the Met Village Front Working Committee has propagated and mobilized people to join hands and contribute. In 2019, mobilized people to donate 135.2 m2land, 100m of fence, trees, ancillary works, mobilizing 436 working days to clear the site... Thanks to that, up to now, together with the locality, the village has completed 14/15 new rural criteria.

Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh highly appreciated the results that the people of Met village have achieved in the past time. At the same time, she hoped that the Party Committee, the Executive Committee, the Front Working Committee and the people of Met village would continue to promote the achieved results, unite, constantly strive to improve, build Met village in particular and Luc Da commune in general to become more and more innovative, prosperous and happy.
On this occasion, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province presented a “Great Unity” house to Ms. Luong Thi Mai in Met village; presented 15 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to 15 extremely disadvantaged households in Luc Da commune; presented 5 radios to the former leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, heads of clans in the residential area...

On this occasion, Con Cuong district also presented a "Great Solidarity" house to poor household Lu Thi Ban, in Lien Son village, Luc Da commune; presented 3 gifts to 3 poor households in Met village, each gift worth 500,000 VND; and presented certificates of golden heart to exemplary families.
