On the morning of November 9, Nghe An Department of Science and Technology coordinated with My Lan Group Joint Stock Company (Tra Vinh province) to organize a workshop on applying 4.0 technology in smart agricultural production. Nghe An is a province with potential for agricultural development, however, to develop sustainably, Nghe An needs to apply 4.0 technology in agricultural technical innovation and in new production organization methods.
Currently, Nghe An has only applied a few models applying smart solutions and devices. Some models are still isolated and not connected throughout the agricultural value chain.

At the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Thanh My - Chairman of My Lan Group shared: Nghe An has many agricultural products such as oranges, pineapples, passion fruit, peanuts, rice, corn, etc. In agriculture, there will be challenges such as climate change, pests, labor shortage, price fluctuations, etc. Therefore, applying 4.0 technology plays a very important role, it is necessary to adapt to climate change conditions for suitable cultivation.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh My introduced solutions for applying 4.0 technology in smart agricultural production such as: Application of 4.0 agriculture in cultivation; mobile application of pest monitoring network, observation of saline intrusion with 4.0 technology, rice cultivation applying 4.0 technology. Prospects of 4.0 livestock model and advanced technology for sustainable aquaculture. Application of Internet in agricultural and aquaculture production; technology to improve the water environment for aquaculture...
At the same time, Dr. Nguyen Thanh My also introduced some smart 4.0 technology devices in agricultural production for farmers to apply.
