This is the breeding season for fish species living near the shore such as anchovies, anchovies, and small squid. From dawn, Quynh Phuong beach has been bustling with the calls of fishermen calling each other to go fishing.
The fishing net is usually carried out on calm days with no wind and depends on the tide. This job requires the combined strength of the whole group. Each net needs 13-15 workers because the net is very heavy.

The fish is purchased by traders and especially by coastal restaurants to make sour soup, which is very attractive to diners. If scooped horizontally, both large and small, the fish costs 40,000 VND/kg, while restaurants that want to choose large fish will pay 60,000 VND/kg.
If lucky, each net can bring in tens of millions of dong. Workers' wages will be divided according to output, on a lucky day each worker can earn 500 - 700 thousand dong. Many women also actively participate in pulling nets to increase their income.
