Time to stop holding leadership positions of People's Council, People's Committee at district and commune levels if not participating in the Party Committee 2020 - 2025
(Baonghean.vn) - Comrades who are not old enough to be re-elected to the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term will no longer hold leadership positions in the People's Council and People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and leadership positions in Party agencies, government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations where there is a Party Committee structure immediately after the congress.

In general, Circular No. 13-TT/TU requires the arrangement, assignment and assignment of new Party Committee members immediately after the congress in accordance with the personnel plan approved by competent authorities and the content of Directive No. 35-CT/TW.
However, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee noted the time to cease holding leadership positions of the People's Council, People's Committee and leadership positions of State agencies with Party committee structure but not participating in the Party committee for the 2020-2025 term for district and commune levels, specifically:
Comrades who are not old enough to be re-elected to the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term will no longer hold leadership positions in the People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term and leadership positions in Party agencies, government, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations where there is a Party Committee structure immediately after the congress.
Particularly for the positions of leaders of the People's Council, if there is a replacement who is a People's Council delegate, the replacement will be carried out immediately; in case the replacement is not a People's Council delegate, the incumbent can continue to work until the end of the 2016-2021 term.
Comrades who are holding the position of Chairman of the People's Council for the 2016 - 2021 term and are old enough to be re-elected to the Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term but not old enough to be re-elected to the People's Council for the entire 2021 - 2026 term, if they still participate in the Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, will continue to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council until the end of the 2016 - 2021 term; at the same time, a successor will be arranged to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council for the 2021 - 2026 term.
Comrades who are holding the positions of Vice Chairmen of the People's Council and leaders of the People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term are old enough to be re-elected to the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term but are not old enough to be re-elected to the People's Council (or positions elected by the People's Council) for the 2021-2026 term. If they still participate in the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, they need to consider arranging other suitable jobs or continue to hold the leadership positions of the People's Council and People's Committee until the end of the 2016-2021 term, then arrange other suitable jobs; if they cannot be arranged, they should retire and wait for the regime to be resolved.
