Meritorious teacher Phan Huu Tu, born in 1935, is from Hung Thang commune, Hung Nguyen district, and currently lives in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town. At present, the teacher is 85 years old and has been a Party member for 58 years.
During his 57 years of continuous work in the education sector, teacher Phan Huu Tu has made many contributions to the development of the "human cultivation" career of Nghe An province. In particular, during his time working as Principal of Hoa Hieu 1 Secondary School (Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town), he led the collective of teachers and students of the school to overcome many difficulties to gradually improve and innovate the quality of education.
With a high sense of responsibility, having held many positions in the education sector, he has always fulfilled his duties well and has been awarded many Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit at all levels with 22 years as a provincial Emulation Fighter. Previously, in 1968, Meritorious Teacher Phan Huu Tu was honored to receive a photo and badge from Uncle Ho as "Fighter to Destroy Ignorance".
After retirement, he has continued to make efforts to contribute to the development of his town, serving as Chairman of the Teachers' Association of Thai Hoa town for more than 10 years and a member of the town's Fatherland Front Committee from 2004 to present.

Talking to Meritorious Teacher Phan Huu Tu, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Cao Thi Hien presented a bouquet of fresh flowers and a gift to express gratitude for the teacher's great contributions to the education career of the province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council sent his best wishes to the teacher and his family, hoping that he would continue to contribute to the town's associations and sectors to further enhance the tradition of studiousness of his hometown Nghe An.
Receiving the attention of provincial leaders and all levels of sectors, Meritorious Teacher Phan Huu Tu sent his thanks and expressed his pride and emotion at the attention of provincial leaders, departments, branches and towns.
Despite his old age, he will try his best to promote his sense of responsibility, actively participate in social work, and be worthy of the attention and trust of the Party, the education sector and the people.
