As a result, Mr. Luong was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital. After the incident, the Bac Hai Van Protective Forest Management Board reported it to the Phu Loc Town Police to handle the matter.

The Bac Hai Van Protective Forest Management Board said that while carrying out forest protection work in the area under the management of the unit in the Hai Van Pass area, Mr. Luong and the forces of the unit's Forest Protection Team patrolled and seized many evidences, which were traps from subjects who entered the forest to set traps to catch wild animals.
