Nghe An prepares the best conditions to welcome a high-ranking delegation from Laos.

(Baonghean.vn) - Working with the working delegation of the Government's Ethnic Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed that Nghe An province is ready to coordinate with ministries and branches to respectfully and thoughtfully welcome the high-level delegation of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction during the working days in Nghe An.

On the afternoon of November 28, in Vinh city, the Provincial People's Committee and the Government's Committee for Ethnic Minorities held a meeting to review the contents of the Program to welcome the high-ranking delegation of the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction and organize the Workshop "Sharing experiences in ethnic work, organizing people-to-people exchanges between ethnic minority representatives and prestigious people living along the Vietnam - Laos border" held in Nghe An.

At the meeting, the representative of the Government's Ethnic Committee reported on the implementation of the plan to coordinate the organization of a program to welcome a high-ranking delegation from the Central Committee of the Lao Front for National Construction and organize a workshop on "Sharing experiences in ethnic work, organizing people-to-people exchanges between ethnic minority representatives and prestigious people living along the Vietnam - Laos border".

Accordingly, the Government Committee for Ethnic Minorities coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An province to develop a plan for reception, diplomatic, logistics, security, reception and activities of the delegation during their working time in Nghe An.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister and Vice Chairwoman of the Ethnic Committee Hoang Thi Hanh emphasized that this is a major event to promote cooperation between Vietnam and Laos on ethnic affairs in the current context.

In particular, the program will include a workshop on "Sharing experiences in ethnic work, organizing people-to-people exchanges between ethnic minority representatives and prestigious people living along the Vietnam - Laos border" chaired by leaders of the Party and State of both sides and Nghe An province, held on December 7, 2019.

On the sidelines of the conference, there will be diplomatic events, meetings and talks between the two heads of the Vietnamese and Lao delegations; cultural and artistic exchange activities, tours of some economic models, historical and cultural relics, visits to the Vietnam-Laos Martyrs Cemetery; and visits to the dairy farm in Nghia Dan district. The program is expected to take place from December 4-8, 2019 with the participation of about 350 delegates from the two countries.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh affirmed that this is a major event, affirming the significance of the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and people of Vietnam and Laos.

Nghe An province will carefully prepare from reception, welcome, security, ready to coordinate with ministries and branches to ensure a respectful, warm, sincere, meaningful and comradely welcome, creating the best conditions for the event to take place successfully.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh assigned the departments and branches according to the assigned plan of the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with relevant units to well perform the assigned tasks.
