Decision to increase holidays in the year
Reporting to a large number of voters on the results of the 8th session of the 14th National Assembly, which just closed on the afternoon of November 27, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province Nguyen Thanh Hien informed that 11 draft laws and 17 resolutions were passed by the National Assembly, and at the same time gave opinions on 10 draft laws.
Among the laws that voters have contributed the most opinions and are most interested in is the Labor Law (amended) with many new regulations, including for the first time expanding the scope of regulation and subjects of application to workers without labor relations.

In addition, it also legalizes the role of representative organizations, protecting the legitimate rights and interests and participating in building labor relations of workers' representative organizations.
In particular, the roadmap for raising the retirement age to 62 years old for male workers in 2028 and 60 years old for female workers in 2035 is stipulated to prepare for and respond to the aging population and meet the needs of the labor market; adding 1 day off per year on the day adjacent to National Day, September 2.
Inadequacies in military service examination.
Responding to the National Assembly, voter Phan Dinh Trung (Dien Thanh commune) said that a current reality is that some young people deliberately tattoo their bodies to avoid military service. This situation has appeared recently and tends to increase if there are no timely measures.

Also related to military service, voter Phan Dinh Trung suggested that military units coordinate better with local authorities to improve the quality of medical examinations.
Many voters continue to request the Party, National Assembly, and Government to pay more attention to better solving policies for policy families, housing support for people with meritorious services, policies for soldiers participating in battlefields, and resistance medals and orders....

Some voters also raised concerns about the policy of reclaiming land from people to carry out projects of dividing land into plots and selling them at low prices, but the selling price then increased hundreds of times.
Some voters reflected that the change from socialized to voluntary funding in education is not appropriate. According to voters, when it comes to funding, organizations and individuals with conditions must be the sponsors, not poor and near-poor households that must also sponsor schools to build facilities and equipment.
Some voters also suggested avoiding the situation of "beating the drum and abandoning the stick" in implementing the clearance of traffic safety corridors according to Resolution No. 56 of the Provincial People's Council...
