Dien Dong Commune (Dien Chau) receives certificate of new rural standards
(Baonghean.vn) - After 10 years of building a new rural area, Dien Dong commune (Dien Chau) has mobilized all resources to invest in developing the economic and social infrastructure system in rural areas, and was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting the new rural standards in 2019.

On the morning of December 8, Dien Dong commune, Dien Chau district held a ceremony to announce the commune meeting the new rural standards. Attending the ceremony were comrades Dinh Viet Hong - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Lap - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of provincial departments and branches.
The new rural construction program has been vigorously implemented by the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Dong commune. There have been changes in all areas: the awareness and consciousness of cadres, party members and people about new rural construction has been increasingly enhanced.

The whole commune has mobilized a total of 255 billion 750 million VND in resources for new rural construction, of which: People's contribution: 177 billion 900 million VND, accounting for 69.56%, provincial budget 26 billion 690 million VND; accounting for 10.44%; commune budget 18 billion 840 million VND, accounting for 7.37%; district budget 3 billion VND; accounting for 1.17%.

The whole commune has built a fairly complete infrastructure system, such as renovating the People's Committee headquarters, medical stations, schools, stadiums, upgrading martyrs' memorials, multi-function houses... In particular, more than 28 billion VND has been invested, asphalting and concrete pouring over 40 km of traffic routes, of which the people alone contributed over 13 billion VND.

To build a new rural area in a sustainable direction, Dien Dong commune has focused on criteria such as increasing income for people. Transforming the economic structure, diversifying jobs, promoting labor export, bringing the average income per capita to over 37 million VND/person/year. With these efforts, Dien Dong commune was recognized as a commune meeting the NTM standards in 2019.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Recognition for the commune meeting new rural standards and awarded a welfare project worth 500 million VND to Dien Dong commune.
4 collectives and 4 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement of joining hands to build new rural areas./.
Yen Thanh 'reached the finish line' as a new rural district, completely debt-free
(Baonghean.vn) - Up to now, Yen Thanh district has had 38/38 communes meeting the new rural standards; the provincial appraisal council assessed that the district has met 9/9 criteria for building a new rural district.
