Young man fined 10 million VND for posting false information on Facebook
Posting a video clip on Facebook with the caption: "Bim Son is so scary, he slashed without hesitation, he was really brutal" but Thao did not know when it happened.
For the act of "Transmitting or storing, using digital information to distort, negatively affect the reputation of agencies and organizations", Le Van Thao (born in 1994, in Ha Phu commune, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa) has just been fined 10 million VND by Bim Son town police.

Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on November 12, on the personal Facebook page "Thảo Ke" posted a 35-second video clip with content related to the incident with signs of causing injury (source of clip unknown), along with the caption: "Bìm Sơn is so scary, slashing without hesitation, really reckless". After the above content was posted, it received more than 300 likes, 360 comments and many shares from the online community.
Immediately after the clip was shared on social networks, Bim Son Town Police quickly investigated, verified and summoned Le Van Thao to the police station to clarify the content of the video clip and the above article.
At the police station, Le Van Thao admitted that the Facebook account "Thao Ke" was his and that the post with the clip was posted by Thao on the evening of November 12.
Le Van Thao also admitted that the content of the above clip did not happen in Bim Son town and Thao did not know when or where it happened.
After being summoned by the police, Thao himself realized that his behavior was a violation of the law, so he voluntarily removed the above article and posted another article with the above clip with revised and corrected content on his personal Facebook page./.
