| Located in Bao Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Bao Nham stone church sits on a spacious 7,750m² plot of land. According to preserved documents, in the early 1880s, Adolphe Klinglé – a French priest also known as Father Thong – came here to preach and chose this "prime" location to build the church. He believed that this area resembled a place in France where a church had been built during his time as a priest. (Photo courtesy of Thanh Cuong) |
