Provincial Party Secretary: Building solidarity, firmly consolidating 'people's hearts'

Attending the conference were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh - Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
At the conference, the Provincial Military Party Committee thoroughly grasped the spirit of the draft Resolution on leadership in implementing tasks in 2020 of the Party Committee of Military Region 4; discussed and analyzed to clarify the achieved results as well as the limitations and shortcomings in leading the implementation of tasks in 2019.
Accordingly, in 2019, with the spirit of democracy, solidarity and unity, the Provincial Military Party Committee focused on leading and directing agencies and units to successfully complete the goals and targets of local military and defense tasks and Party building work. Timely advising and proposing to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee timely policies and solutions to maintain political security and social order and safety in the province. At the same time, well implementing defense diplomacy, especially with provinces sharing the border with Laos. Well implementing mass mobilization work, especially promptly organizing forces, means and materials to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
Important projects and resolutions such as the project "Building a number of key combat works in the provincial defense area in the period of 2016 - 2021"; the project "Strengthening the construction of the Militia and Self-Defense Force in Nghe An province, period 2013 - 2017 and the following years"; the project "Assisting and supporting the armed forces of Xieng Khouang province, Laos, period 2013 - 2020" were implemented seriously, effectively and synchronously.

Announcing some new information of the entire army and armed forces of the military region, Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 suggested that, after learning from the remaining limitations, the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province needs to improve the quality of regular construction work, discipline training, gradually improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, and build solidarity between the army and people in the stationed area.
Regarding the specialized resolutions of the Provincial Military Party Committee on leadership of ideological management work, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp and implement them well, and on that basis, develop and issue specialized resolutions and implementation plans at each level. How to improve the quality of political and ideological education as well as the exemplary role of the leading cadres at all levels.

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts in performing the tasks of the Provincial Military Party Committee in 2019. Promoting those results, in 2020 the unit needs to continue to strive to lead the implementation of local military and defense tasks and Party building tasks.
In 2020, it is forecasted that the world and regional situation will continue to have many complicated developments, along with natural disasters, epidemics, and criminal activities that negatively affect the situation of the country in general and Nghe An in particular. Therefore, the Provincial Military Command needs to focus on performing well the task of closely coordinating with the Police and Border Guard forces to advise local Party committees and authorities to grasp and promptly handle hot spots and complicated incidents related to political security. Strictly maintain training regimes and combat readiness.
