(Baonghean.vn) - After 9 years of building a new rural area, in Nghia Trung commune (Nghia Dan), many farm and household models have appeared with an income of 200 - 400 million VND/year, the average income per capita in 2019 reached over 33.94 million/person.

On the morning of December 20, Nghia Trung commune organized the announcement of the Decision and received the certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the new rural standards in 2019. Attending the ceremony were comrades: Dinh Viet Hong - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Lap - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and many people of Nghia Trung commune.

Implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, with a low starting point, people's lives encountered many difficulties, but with the participation of the entire political system, the consensus and positive response of cadres, party members and local people, Nghia Trung commune joined hands and unanimously built the New Rural Construction.

After 9 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development, Nghia Trung commune has completed 19/19 criteria. The commune mobilized more than 116 billion VND, of which people contributed nearly 30 billion VND to serve the construction of New Rural Development. Since then, the appearance of the countryside has changed significantly, in the area there have appeared many farm and family farm models with an income of 200 - 400 million VND/year, creating jobs and income for many workers.

The locality has also built nearly 30km of village roads, 4km of village and inter-village roads. Many farm and family farm models have appeared in the area with an income of 200 - 400 million VND/year, the average income per capita in 2019 reached over 33.94 million VND/person; the number of poor households decreased to 3.09%.

With the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people, Nghia Trung commune was recognized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province as a commune meeting national standards for new rural areas in 2019.

On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Van Lap - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, leaders of Nghia Dan district awarded the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the new rural standards to the locality and 500 million VND in bonus from the province; awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and individuals.

Nghia Dan District People's Committee also presented Nghia Trung commune with a welfare project worth 100 million VND and rewarded 8 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in building new rural areas./.
