Facilitate businesses operating in the import-export sector

Nghe An Customs Department has had many solutions to effectively implement administrative procedure reform in import-export activities, creating favorable conditions for enterprises to carry out import-export procedures. In 2019, import-export procedures were carried out for more than 321 enterprises with 27,982 sets of declarations, thereby the import-export turnover reached 1,672.14 million USD, an increase of 26.8% over the same period. As of December 26, the entire Department collected 1,589.3 billion VND for the State budget, reaching 93.48% of the legal target (1,700 billion VND) and 88.89% of the target (1,788 billion VND).
To create the most favorable conditions for import and export activities, Nghe An Customs Department regularly organizes business dialogues to disseminate legal documents on Customs and promptly resolve difficulties and problems of import and export businesses...
At the conference, import-export enterprises discussed and raised difficulties in the operation process such as: tax management, accounting regime, tax deferral, tax exemption, goods release issues, etc.
Enterprises also recommended and proposed mechanisms and policies related to import-export activities, especially administrative procedure reform towards increasing convenience, simplicity and transparency for businesses.

Representatives of Nghe An Customs answered questions about customs procedures for businesses; at the same time, they continued to strongly reform administrative procedures resolved under the one-stop mechanism, promoted IT application, modernized customs, and implemented the highest level of online public service system corresponding to each procedure.
Along with that, strengthening coordination between forces inside and outside the industry, local authorities do a good job of fighting smuggling and trade fraud, ensuring rights and fairness for businesses participating in import and export.
