Nghe An: 14 students awarded the title '5 Good Students'
(Baonghean.vn) - At the ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association, the Nghe An Provincial Student Association awarded the title of "5 Good Students" at the provincial level to 14 students and the title of "5 Good Students Collective" at the provincial level to 1 branch association.
On the evening of January 5, the Provincial Student Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2020); and honored the title of "5 Good Students", the collective of "5 Good Students", and awarded the January Star Award 2019.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Student Association Le Van Luong reviewed the history and development tradition of the Vietnam Student Association in general and the Nghe An Provincial Student Association in particular.
Over the years, the Provincial Student Association has launched revolutionary action movements, mobilizing a large number of students to participate in many new fields and difficult areas that require youth, enthusiasm and high knowledge. The student volunteer campaigns "Green Summer", "Red Flamboyant", "Exam Support", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" ... have left their mark through specific projects and tasks in remote and difficult areas in the province, or in Laos.

In addition to promoting the spirit of initiative and volunteerism in the fields of study and scientific research, with the support and companionship of the Youth Union and Student Associations at all levels, students also demonstrate their ability to quickly acquire new knowledge, actively participate in scientific research activities at all levels, participate in robocon competitions, national and regional vocational competitions, and win many high prizes.
Vietnamese Student Association of Nghe An Provincewas established in 2007. Currently there are 4 affiliated Student Associations with more than 40,000 members and students.
Up to now, Nghe An Provincial Student Association has gone through 3 Congresses, is one of the strong units in the North Central region, has Association activities and student movements that are vibrant, creative, innovative and continuous, recognized and highly appreciated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.
The series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students include: Festival of student art clubs; Team building "I am a 7-good student"; Commending "5-good students", "5-good student groups", and awarding the "January Star" award at the provincial level; Journey "Proud of Vietnamese student tradition"; Video contest "My school is number 1".

At the ceremony, the Provincial Student Association Secretariat awarded the title of “5 Good Students” at the provincial level to 14 students, the title of “5 Good Students Collective” at the provincial level to 1 branch association; and awarded the “January Star” Award at the provincial level to 55 students who are Youth Union and Association officials at all levels, with many outstanding achievements in studying and working.
