Arrested 2 subjects driving luxury car, seized 1,100 pink pills and many hot weapons
(Baonghean.vn) - During an administrative check of two subjects driving a luxury car, the authorities discovered and seized 1,100 ecstasy pills, two air guns, a sports gun, one grenade, and several knives and swords of various types at their residence.
Through reconnaissance and information gathering, Anh Son District Police discovered a large-scale illegal drug trafficking ring operating in the area.
Through professional measures, Anh Son District Police identified the ringleader as Le Van Dai (born in 1978), residing in Hoi Son Commune, Anh Son District, Nghe An. Having a previous conviction for "Possessing drugs", Dai often supplied drugs in the form of pink pills to retail outlets in the district, of which Nguyen Trung Anh (born in 1992), residing in Block 6B, Anh Son Town (commonly known as Co Uyen) was a henchman.

Realizing that the time was ripe, at 11:30 p.m. on January 7, 2020, Dai and Trung Anh were identified as using a Camry car to transport drugs to retail dealers. The Task Force divided the group into 3 working groups to ambush and monitor.
When the two subjects reached km65 - National Highway 7A, the Traffic Police force signaled the vehicle to stop for an administrative check. The working group then inspected and searched the vehicle and discovered and seized more than 400 pink pills, several guns, bullets, knives and swords of various types.

The task force quickly deployed forces to simultaneously search 3 locations: the residence and kiosk of the 2 subjects, seizing an additional 700 pink pills. The total seized evidence included: 1,100 pink pills, 01 air gun, 01 sports gun, 01 grenade and a number of swords of various types.
The working group has drawn up a record of the arrest of the criminal and seized all related evidence.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by Anh Son District Police according to the provisions of law.
