10th grade female student in Nghe An jumps into Dinh River

The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. on January 10. At that time, Truong Thi Yen Nh. (residing in Bao An hamlet, Tam Hop commune), currently a 10th grade student at Quy Hop 2 High School, went to the middle of Dinh bridge in Tam Hop commune and jumped into Dinh river.
Seeing N. jump off the bridge, a man passing by risked his life to jump into the river, rescue the victim and bring her to shore.
Nh. was then given first aid and transferred to the nearby Doan Ket General Clinic. Here, doctors and nurses performed phlegm and mucus suction, administered intravenous fluids, used vasopressors, administered oxygen, and kept warm.

After 30 minutes of emergency care, Nh. regained consciousness and was transferred to Nghe An Northwest Regional General Hospital for monitoring.
