As for coach Maciej Skorża of U23 UAE, he admitted that U23 Vietnam's tactics and playing mindset were very good: "They were great in terms of tactical thinking, but we had better minutes of play. Vietnam played very well so it was not easy to create opportunities in front of their goal.

In the last 10 minutes of the match, Vietnam were very dangerous when they had the ball, they had 2 great chances, the players were a bit panicked, I had to remind the players to calm down. We were a bit disappointed because we played well against a strong opponent.

UAE U23 had great chances at the end of the first half and were really disappointed not to score a goal in this match. The players played well, fought and showed determination until the last minute.
