(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 15, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee visited and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the District Police, the Military Command of Yen Thanh District, and presented gifts to policy families in the area.

Visiting and wishing a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the District Military Command and Police, comrade Bui Thanh An affirmed the positive contributions of the district armed forces, especially in ensuring security and order, bringing a peaceful life to the people, creating an environment to promote socio-economic development of Yen Thanh district in particular and the province in general.
2019 is an important milestone year for Yen Thanh district when the district completed the new rural district program. The Party Committee of Yen Thanh district was evaluated by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee as an excellent Party Committee. Yen Thanh is also the district with the best defense drills in the province.

In the coming time, comrade Bui Thanh An requested the armed forces of Yen Thanh district to take care of Tet for the people and coordinate with each other to develop combat plans.
Emphasizing that 2020 is a year of many important events for the country and the province, the general requirements for the armed forces and each unit are very high. In particular, in 2020, Yen Thanh is one of the three districts selected as the location for Party Congresses at all levels, so comrade Bui Thanh An hopes that the district armed forces will stay close to the grassroots, promptly report the situation, promptly resolve concerns, not let "hot spots" occur, and work with grassroots party committees to complete the major tasks set out.

In the immediate future, in preparation for the Lunar New Year of the Rat, the forces continue to heighten vigilance with a spirit of combat readiness; intensify the fight against all types of crime, ensure security, order and peace for people to enjoy the Spring Festival and celebrate the New Year; as well as pay attention to and take care of many families of officers and soldiers who are still in difficulty.
Next, the delegation visited, wished a happy new year, and presented the "Fund for the Poor" to Thien Tam Social Protection Center and Hien Luong Social Protection Facility, each gift worth 10 million VND.
