Nghe An: Preparing for fireworks display in Vinh city and Cua Lo town on New Year's Eve
(Baonghean.vn) - In Vinh city, fireworks will be set off at Ho Chi Minh Square, with 180 low-altitude displays, and in Cua Lo town, fireworks will be set off at Binh Minh Square with 90 low-altitude displays.

To perform the task of setting off fireworks properly according to regulations and ensuring absolute safety, on the morning of January 18, the Provincial Military Command organized the opening of the 2020 fireworks training course. Accordingly, the Provincial Military Command provided technical training for two localities, Vinh City and Cua Lo Town, to prepare for fireworks on New Year's Eve and the Canh Ty New Year.
During 1 day, 130 comrades from the Military Commands of 21 districts, cities, towns and units under the Provincial Military Command will receive and acquire basic skills on the features, structure and operation of high-altitude fireworks and low-altitude fireworks.

Also during the training session, the Provincial Military Command provided guidance and agreed on the implementation of legal documents, procedures for fireworks displays, technical and safety regulations when organizing fireworks displays, possible technical incidents and handling measures.
The approval for any locality to organize fireworks displays during Tet or major holidays is based on Decree No. 36/2009/ND-CP of the Government on the management and use of fireworks and the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, considering the proposal of the Provincial Military Command and the People's Committee of the city or town.
