Quitting his job, a man in his 20s became a petty thief at construction sites.
To get money for Tet (Lunar New Year), a young man broke into a construction site and stole property worth approximately 200 million VND.
This afternoon, the Thuận Phước Ward Police (Hải Châu District, Da Nang) arrested Hà Anh Tuấn (born in 1996, residing in Quế Sơn District, Quảng Nam Province) to investigate his alleged theft of property.
Earlier, on the morning of January 18th, representatives of the Blooming Tower construction project, located at the foot of Thuan Phuoc Bridge, reported to the police that a large quantity of hot and cold water heaters, electricity meters, circuit breakers, etc., had been stolen, with a total value of approximately 200 million VND.

Following an investigation, the police arrested Tuan that same afternoon while he was temporarily residing in Hoa Tho Dong ward, Cam Le district.
During questioning, Tuan confessed that he used to work as an electrician and plumber at the Blooming Tower construction site. From July 2019, he repeatedly broke into the construction site to steal equipment, which he then resold to electrical and plumbing shops or advertised online. Near Tet (Lunar New Year), to fund his expenses, Tuan continued to steal property.

The police confiscated 9 water heaters, 61 electricity meters, 119 circuit breakers, and other tools and equipment used to carry out illegal activities.
