Domestic gold prices increased sharply again
On the morning of January 20, domestic gold prices increased sharply from 180,000 - 250,000 VND/tael, while world gold prices only increased slightly by 1.5 US/oz.
Opening the trading session on the morning of January 20, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold at 43.30 - 43.70 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael for buying and 250,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the closing price of the trading session last weekend. The selling price difference is 400,000 VND/tael higher than the buying price.
On the same morning, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 43.45 - 43.65 million VND/tael, an increase of 180,000 VND/tael for buying and 230,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the trading session at the end of last week. The difference between the buying and selling price of gold is currently 200,000 VND/tael.

In the world market, the spot gold price is currently trading around 1,558.2 USD/oz, up 1.5 USD/oz compared to the previous trading session. Converted to the USD price at Vietcombank (23,245 VND/USD), the world gold price is equivalent to 43.63 million VND/tael, 70,000 VND/tael lower than the selling price of SJC gold./.
