Ngoc Son renovated a hundred billion villa, the maid's room met 2-star standards
Ngoc Son said he wanted to show off nothing more than two songs praising mother's love and father's love covered in gold in his bedroom.
Visit Ngoc Son's villa located on "golden land" right in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The entrance to the house is still covered with reliefs, from landscapes, tigers and eagles to the "8 sincere things of Ngoc Son" sign that was once a topic of discussion. Outside the entrance, there are more trees and flowers, creating a gentle, less overwhelming feeling.
Ngoc Son complained that Tet came early this year, while his house was being renovated, so he was worried that he wouldn't have time to decorate the house for Tet. A few years ago, the entire inside and outside of the villa was covered with blue stone, making guests always feel gloomy and strange. For Tet 2020, Ngoc Son replaced the blue stone with white granite, making the garage, kitchen and maid's room much brighter. The singer said that he will gradually replace the wall tiles in the villa with white granite to match. He showed off the newly built maid's bedroom, with 2-star hotel room standards.
Ngoc Son's living room once caused a stir. Most of the objects and decorations are not much different. When the white stone was replaced, the room was also much brighter. Ngoc Son said that the lighting system worth billions of dong was given to him by a close cousin. There are about 5-6 sets of wooden tables and chairs like this in the house, the estimated value is very large. Ms. Canh (60 years old, from Vinh Long) - the maid in Ngoc Son's house, is in charge of cleaning these tables and chairs. However, she does not find the work tiring. "I have worked here for about 9 months. I have worked in many places but I like this the most. Mr. Ba is very sociable, not pretentious, he is very good to me. I have a husband and children, but I do not plan to go home this Tet but will stay because I like it here," she said.
The space that used to host 200 guests of Ngoc Son was renovated for 300 million VND into a table tennis competition floor. He is confident that he is a "master", ready to interact if anyone challenges him. From grade 8 to grade 10, Ngoc Son always won first prize in table tennis competitions organized by the school and Bac Lieu province. In grade 9, Ngoc Son also won the table tennis championship of 6 provinces in the West. Besides table tennis, Ngoc Son has a great passion for chess. The singer boasted that he had just "defeated" a professional player not long ago.

The two simplest corners in the "chaotic" living room of East and West, past and present. Ngoc Son shows off the trophies, certificates of merit... that most symbolize his musical career. Especially the certificate honoring "Popular Artist" Ngoc Son - the title he likes the most. On the other side is the bicycle he used since his poor days. Of course, Ngoc Son now only drives a car and no longer uses a bicycle, but the bicycle will still follow him, staying in the corner of the house as a reminder of his poor and difficult youth.
What Ngoc Son is most excited about, and just wants to show off right away, is the two lyrics "Mother's love, Father's love is more than anything / Everything in the world, is my breath" embossed in gold on the wall in his bedroom, instead of the old embossed gold dragons. He wants to spread the message of sacred parental love to the audience.
Ngoc Son sat relaxing on an elaborately carved wooden chair. Not only this chair, almost all the furniture in his house was made of wood, carved very elaborately.
The ceiling is gilded with silver and gold, with relief carvings of dragons and angels. The singer seems to always favor a variety of styles, both Eastern and Western.

In the past, this room used to be the room of Ngoc Son's father. After his father passed away for a long time, the male singer converted it into a living room, mainly for his students who came to record at his house to have a place to rest. In the room hangs a photo of Ngoc Son taken in the 1990s, when he filmed the famous Tinh Doi tapes.
