Hoang Mai Town: Installing 27 traffic and security surveillance cameras at key locations
(Baonghean.vn) - The town has installed 27 cameras at 24 points along National Highway 1A, National Highway 48D and Road N3 from National Highway 1A to the administrative center. Each camera has a visibility of over 1 km and can store images for 25 days.
On the afternoon of January 21, Comrade Vo Van Dung - Secretary of the Town Party Committee, along with leaders of Hoang Mai town, inspected the progress of installing security cameras to prevent and combat crime to ensure security and order in the town.

In phase 1 of the project, the town installed 27 cameras at 24 points along National Highway 1A, National Highway 48D and Road N3 from National Highway 1A to the administrative center. Each camera has a range of over 1 km and can store images for 25 days. The devices installed in this phase are all smart cameras, with high definition and resolution, with features such as facial recognition, video recording, license plate recording, people counting, crowd warning... and other features to ensure storage and extraction for investigation and handling of violations.
Currently, the control center is located at the headquarters of Hoang Mai Town Police under 24/7 monitoring by the town police monitoring team.
The construction of a security camera system will effectively assist the security forces and the people in crime prevention, handling traffic violations, contributing to ensuring security, order, and protecting people's property.
