On the morning of January 24 (ie 30th of Lunar New Year), Nghe An Provincial People's Committee sent an urgent document to a number of departments, branches and sectors on the prevention of respiratory infections caused by the new strain of Corona Virus.
According to the Provincial People's Committee, this epidemic is developing complicatedly in China, is a dangerous infectious disease transmitted from person to person through close contact or saliva, there is no specific treatment and no vaccine to prevent the disease.
To date, China has recorded 541 cases of the disease, including 15 medical staff. 17 people have died from this epidemic. Currently, the epidemic has also been recorded in many other countries, including Vietnam with 2 cases from Wuhan, currently quarantined at Cho Ray Hospital.
