This female patient is 42 years old, from Que Phong district, working in China and just returned home to celebrate Tet on January 17. On January 28, the woman had a fever, cough... so her family took her to the hospital.

Mountainous districts of Nghe An such as Que Phong, Tuong Duong... have a large number of workers who often go to China to work. During the Lunar New Year, it is estimated that thousands of people returned from China. This raises concerns about the spread of the Corona epidemic.

On the morning of January 31, the Hubei provincial government in China confirmed 1,220 more cases of nCoV virus, bringing the number of people infected with pneumonia in China to 9,356. The latest statistics show that the daily death toll is rising sharply, despite unprecedented anti-epidemic measures applied in Hubei province a week ago. These figures were released hours after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global emergency because the nCoV pneumonia epidemic has spread to more than 20 countries and territories around the world.
