Police investigate mother abusing her own child
During the investigation, Ms. T confessed that she was previously upset about family issues with her biological parents when she thought they were asking for the necklace they had previously given her back.
Today (February 1), Mr. Nguyen Van An, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province confirmed that the woman brutally torturing the boy in the video circulating on social media is mother and son. The locality has worked with this woman to clarify the incident and made a record to transfer to Thu Dau Mot City Police for handling.

The woman abusing the child in the video that has been circulating on social media in recent days is NTTT (31 years old, living in Binh Duong). The child who was beaten is HQT (4 years old, biological son of Ms. T). The incident of the boy being beaten happened on January 26 in a house in Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city.
According to the video, baby T was dragged on the floor by her biological mother with a rope tied around her neck. After that, T was slapped repeatedly on the face and head by her mother, causing the baby to cry out in pain.
During the investigation, Ms. T confessed that she was upset about family matters with her biological parents. Specifically, Ms. T's parents gave her son a necklace to wear during Tet. Then, her parents told her to give it back to her grandparents to keep in case he lost it when he went to school. Ms. T thought her grandparents wanted it back, so she was upset and angry that her son had broken things, so she beat him.

Through the investigation, the ward police received information that Ms. T had previously beaten her child many times. Ms. T's behavior showed signs of committing the crime of "abusing" or "torturing her child" under Article 185 of the Penal Code. Currently, the Hoa Phu ward police have made a report to transfer to the Thu Dau Mot city police to handle the case in accordance with regulations.
Mr. Nguyen Van An added that baby T was taken for a health check by his grandparents and luckily was not injured. The baby is currently living with his grandparents in Phu Chanh commune, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province. Leaders of Hoa Phu ward organized a delegation to visit and give gifts to the baby./.
