On the afternoon of January 31, the Director of Tan Ky Medical Center held an urgent meeting to deploy the epidemic prevention plan.
Accordingly, the unit has decided to establish a Rapid Response Team for epidemic prevention and control consisting of 9 members, including Dr. CKI. Thai Hai Dang - Director of the Medical Center as the Team Leader. The team will be responsible for epidemic prevention and control, directing, investigating and supervising epidemic prevention measures, and fully preparing specialized equipment, supplies, and chemicals to be ready to respond when an epidemic occurs.

In addition, the unit has deployed commune health stations to review and make a list of workers returning from epidemic areas, and report to the center for monitoring and supervision.
At the same time, the Director also directed relevant departments and offices to fully prepare machinery, medicine, chemical supplies and response plans when an epidemic occurs, and to place hand sanitizer in public places so that patients can disinfect in the most convenient way.
Isolation rooms have also been prepared at the Internal Medicine Department to maximize control and avoid infection for medical staff and surrounding people when there is a suspected patient.
At the Examination Department, the unit has developed a triage plan and arranged isolation rooms for high-risk patients. At the Surgery Department, the department's fund has been used to buy masks and distribute them free of charge to patients and their families.
Especially for patients being treated at the department as well as their families, medical staff have communicated how to wash hands, how to wear masks properly, how to prevent disease by direct consultation and at the same time encouraged people to propagate in the community.
