Spreading false information about coronavirus to 'strike and stop working'
Police in Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province have just discovered and administratively punished a case of posting false information about the corona virus on Facebook.
Through monitoring the situation, Ha Trung District Police discovered that the Facebook account "Pham Hai Yen" posted information "Due to the epidemic, tomorrow we will probably have to go on strike and stop working, everyone" to incite workers at the company to quit their jobs.

Conducting verification, the police agency clearly identified the owner of the above Facebook account as MTH, born in 1990, living in Bac Son ward, Bim Son town, currently a worker at Venus Shoe Company, Ha Trung district.
Through investigation, Mai Thi Hien admitted to posting false information, removed the article and pledged not to repeat the offense.
Ha Trung District Police have drawn up a record of the violation and administratively fined Mai Thi Hien 1.5 million VND./.
