Ms. Ha said: “There are only two of us in the family. Recently, my husband fell ill and had to be hospitalized. Right at the time of spring rice planting, I was very worried. Fortunately, the women in the association helped us pull out the seedlings and plant the rice, closing the family's area, ensuring the timely harvest. If it weren't for the association, my family wouldn't know how to manage during this difficult and unfortunate time.”
Like Ms. Ha's family, Ms. Ho Thi Huong's family in Hamlet 2/9 is quite poor, and she herself is sick and is currently being treated at a provincial hospital. Faced with Ms. Huong's difficulties, the Commune Women's Union in coordination with the Hamlet 2/9 branch mobilized 30 members with more than 30 working days to help her plant all of her family's rice fields.

Ms. Ho Thi Huong shared: “While being treated in the hospital, a few days ago I was worried because several fields had not been planted yet, afraid of the crop not being in season, because the family's life and income depended on this area of fields. Regardless of the cold and rain, the women's union members of the village helped to complete the planting of the entire rice area of the family. When I heard the news, I was so happy and moved that I cried, if the organization did not help, the family's fields would have been abandoned this year."
According to Ms. Le Thi Hoai - Head of the Women's Association of Village 2/9, at this time, the women in the association are quite busy, in addition to planting spring rice, they also plant and take care of sugarcane, sow peanuts and plant forests. However, when someone in the association encounters difficulties and hardships like Ms. Huong, the women are willing to temporarily put aside their family work to help her family sow and plant in time for the crop season, otherwise there will be no income in the near future.
