Feeding rice with fresh milk and chicken eggs instead of fertilizer and medicine

The strange rice growing story of Mr. Duong Xuan Vu (Phu Tan district, An Giang province) attracted public attention.

According to Mr. Vu, in the 2019-2020 winter-spring rice crop, his father provided him with 4,900 rice varieties for him to sow. Because his father needed rice from this variety to make milk rice, but on the condition that he had to apply an organic production model, not using chemical fertilizers or pesticides in the fields.

Mr. Vu in the rice field only uses lime, chicken eggs and fresh milk for the rice to "drink" instead of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

While struggling to solve the difficult problem posed by his father, Mr. Vu was instructed by someone to use Dia Long lime with chicken eggs and Vinamilk milk to spray on the rice fields.

From the time the rice is planted in the ground until harvest, Mr. Vu only uses lime, fresh milk and chicken eggs to "drink" the rice instead of fertilizer and medicine, and the estimated yield is over 1 ton/1,000m.2.

The hottest place in Vietnam grows strawberries thanks to watering with milk

Strawberries are considered a famous cold-loving crop of Da Lat (Lam Dong). However, currently in Ninh Thuan - the most harshly hot land in the country - there is a strawberry garden growing well, attracting the attention of tourists and locals.

Mrs. Huong watered the strawberry plants with milk.

Ms. Vo Thi Huong (60 years old, Phuoc Dan town, Ninh Phuoc) is the first and only person to grow strawberry gardens on Ninh Thuan land.

The most unique thing about this strawberry garden is that every 3 days to 1 week, depending on the growth of each strawberry plant, Mrs. Huong will water the strawberries with… milk. The strawberry plants watered with milk will bloom, and especially produce more fragrant and sweet fruit than those watered with only water.
