(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for the 2020 National U19 Qualifiers, Coach Nguyen Van Tien has finalized the list of SLNA U19 team. This year's SLNA U19 squad continues to have the service of factors from the back line.
This year's SLNA U19 roster is made up of players born in 2001. Among them are U19 Vietnam players who were called up by coach Phillippe Troussier last year, such as goalkeeper Nguyen Van Ba, Ho Khac Luong, Dang Quang Tu, Tran Manh Quynh, Tran Quoc Thanh, Vuong Van Huy, and Le Van Thanh.
In addition, coach Nguyen Van Tien also added players born in 2002 such as goalkeeper Nguyen Van Viet, Nguyen Minh Duc, players Pham Tien Dung, Phan Ba Quyen and Hoang Van Thong. In particular, there are also 2 17-year-old players, Nguyen Van Bach and Dinh Xuan Tien.

These are two players born in 2003 who often play with their seniors, and have achieved many great achievements with SLNA U13 and SLNA U15 in the past year. These include the 2018 National U15 Championship, runner-up in the National U13 and U17 tournaments. In 2019, this duo also won the bronze medal with SLNA U19 at the National U19 Finals.
The qualifying round will take place from March 3 to March 26, 2020 (including 2 home and away matches) with 28 teams divided into 6 groups. U19 SLNA is in group B with 5 teams hosted by Hue Football Team including: Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, SHB Da Nang, SLNA and Thanh Hoa.

The teams will compete in a round-robin of two legs to select 7 teams and the host team of the final round to compete in the final round. According to the new announcement of the Vietnam Football Federation on adjusting the schedule of the 2020 National U19 Football Championship, the final round will take place from April 1 to April 10, 2020.
