Young man insults police on Facebook because he was fined by traffic police

(Baonghean.vn) - Vi Van Thiet (residing in Quy Chau district) used the Facebook account "Chu La" to post distorted information, insulting the reputation of the People's Public Security Force (CAND).

Quy Chau District Police (Nghe An) has just summoned Vi Van Thiet, born in 1994, residing in Kieng village, Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district to the headquarters to work on the case of him using his personal Facebook account to share and comment on a number of articles with content distorting and insulting the reputation of the People's Public Security force.

Through inspection, Quy Chau District Police discovered that Facebook "Chu La" shared an article insulting the sacrifice of 3 police officers and soldiers in Hanoi.

In addition, in a post shared by the Facebook page "Quang Trung", there is content reflecting the traffic police force fined 7 million VND for a male student who used alcohol while participating in traffic. Facebook account "Chu La" shared with the title: "Fuck them, they make laws for the mentally ill and Agent Orange.

Using professional measures, Quy Chau District Police identified the owner of the Facebook account "Chu La" as Vi Van Thiet, born in 1994, residing in Kieng village, Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district.

At the district police headquarters, Vi Van Thiet admitted that the Facebook account "Chu La" was his, and admitted that the information he shared and commented on with distorted content and insulting the reputation of the People's Public Security force as above was his doing.

Vi Van Thiet also admitted that the reason for sharing and commenting on the above information was that he had been administratively fined by the traffic police for violating traffic laws a few times, which led to his negative feelings towards the police force. After working with the police, Vi Van Thiet realized his violations, removed all the violating content, and posted on Facebook to correct the information and apologize to the police force.

Quy Chau District Police have drawn up an administrative violation record, confiscated 01 phone of Vi Van Thiet, and are currently consolidating the case file to handle the subject according to the provisions of the law.
