(Baonghean.vn) – Nghe An football team officially recruited 2 foreign strikers and 1 foreign central defender for the 2020 season. Including a striker from the U23 Nigeria team and a Gambian player.
The first player SLNA signed as reported by Nghe An Newspaper is striker Peter Onyekachi (born 1994), Nigerian nationality, 1m82 tall. In 2015 and 2016, he played for the U23 and Olympic teams of Nigeria. At the club level, Peter Onyekachi won the Nigerian National Championship with Enyimba Club in the 2014/2015 season.
Last year, he scored 5 goals for Hapoel Saba in 34 matches and helped the team gain promotion to the Israeli Professional League. Peter Onyekachi's strengths are strength and good pressing. In addition to playing as a striker, Onyekachi can play as a midfielder when needed. This player was introduced by Michael Olaha - a former SLNA player.

The remaining player is striker Alagie Sosseh (born 1986), a Swedish and Gambian national, 1m91 tall, currently playing for the Gambia national football team. Striker Alagie Sosseh has played for 10 years for top professional clubs in Sweden, Norway, and Türkiye.
Before coming to Vietnam, Alagie Sosseh played for Fatih Karagümrük Club (Türkiye). His most impressive achievement was during his time playing for Akropolis Club in the Swedish National Championship with 15 goals in 23 matches in the 2017 season.

The central defender is Gustavo Santos (born 1993), Brazilian nationality, 1m95 tall. Gustavo Santos is no stranger to Vietnamese fans as he played for Viettel and Saigon in the 2019 season.
When playing for Viettel in the first leg of V.League 2019, the Brazilian midfielder only played 6/9 matches. But in the second leg, he played for Saigon FC and played 12 matches. In the first leg of last year, while playing for Saigon FC, this player contributed greatly to the team's 5th place on the rankings. At SLNA, midfielder Gustavo Santo will wear the number 95 shirt.
