Arrested 3 male and female drug addicts who committed 13 robberies in the 'rice homeland' of Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - From October 2019 to now, 3 drug addicts have committed 13 robberies of necklaces, gold earrings and mobile phones in Yen Thanh district (Nghe An).
On March 2, Yen Thanh District Police announced that they had successfully broken up Project 220C, temporarily detaining a group of suspects who committed 13 robberies in the district.

The group of subjects includes Nguyen Ba Dung (born in 1996), residing in Hamlet 3, Lien Thanh Commune, Le Van Duc (born in 2001), residing in Hamlet 8, Cong Thanh Commune, and Le Thi Huong (born in 1988), residing in Khanh Thanh Commune (all 3 subjects are drug addicts).
Through the investigation, the three suspects confessed to having committed 13 robberies of necklaces, gold earrings and mobile phones in the district from October 2019 to present. Currently, the police have seized 4 phones, 2 motorbikes, 3 gold necklaces, 1 gold earring and are temporarily holding them in custody to continue the investigation and search for evidence to return to the victims.
Yen Thanh District Police also informed anyone who had been robbed in the district during the above period to go directly to the district police to report.
