Nghe An strives to prevent the spread of Covid-19

Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health, Hung Nguyen district has synchronously deployed solutions to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. The entire political system of Hung Nguyen district has joined in, in terms of direction and operation, implementing documents from higher levels and issuing plans to prevent and control the epidemic.

In particular, propaganda work is especially focused on each target group, through many forms such as the radio system of the communes. The Department of Communications and the Center for Culture - Sports - Communication of the district have coordinated to produce news and propaganda articles on measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. Broadcasting on the radio twice a day, each time about 10 minutes, in addition, the communes proactively broadcast the management documents of all levels.

To effectively implement epidemic prevention, we have directed local agencies and units to spray disinfectants at offices. In particular, we have coordinated with the Education sector to organize two sprayings of disinfectants for all schools, ensuring a safe environment when students return to school.

Regarding monitoring work, the district has directed the establishment of a monitoring system down to each block and hamlet, with close coordination between the health system and the police from the district to the commune and hamlet levels.

From there, we will promptly detect people returning from abroad to have measures to quarantine at home for 14 days, and those returning from epidemic areas will be subject to mandatory quarantine. Currently, we are quarantining 34 people, of which 2 are quarantined in a centralized facility and 32 are quarantined at home.

Regarding facilities and equipment for epidemic prevention, we have directed commune health stations to arrange 1-2 rooms to quarantine people returning from epidemic areas. Currently, a centralized quarantine facility is being deployed at the District Health Center, with capacity for about 100 people. In case of overload, the headquarters and health stations of the 5 merged communes that are currently redundant will be requisitioned to serve as centralized quarantine facilities.

Currently, local people have a high awareness of epidemic prevention, regularly implementing hygiene measures, preventing epidemics; actively coordinating and providing important information to authorities. With the active cooperation of the people, we believe that the spread of Covid-19 will be limited.

Identifying the prevention and control of Covid-19 as an extremely important task as Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed “Fighting the epidemic is like fighting the enemy”, in recent times, the youth of Vinh city have carried out many practical activities. In particular, focusing on propaganda to help people understand the risk of disease outbreaks and preventive measures.

Youth union members in the area have arranged a system of billboards and slogans about Covid-19 prevention and control in public places with large crowds such as bus stations, markets, restaurants, cafes, etc. to avoid the spread of the disease.

Directing the grassroots Youth Union to step up propaganda, distribute leaflets, and distribute medical masks to help prevent the epidemic. Vinh City Youth Union alone has distributed 3,000 free medical masks at markets and hospitals.

In addition, direct the grassroots union to step up monitoring and provide information on people returning from epidemic areas to medical facilities and authorities. Propaganda for union members, youth and each citizen to raise awareness of protecting themselves, those around them and the community and society.

Thời gian tới, chúng tôi cũng đã có kế hoạch cụ thể để tiếp tục đẩy mạnh tuyên truyền. Trước tiên là phối hợp với các doanh nghiệp dựng các pa – nô lớn tại các điểm công cộng; phát tờ rơi để nhân dân hiểu rõ hơn nữa về các biện pháp phòng tránh. Phát các lọ nước rửa tay loại nhỏ cho các em học sinh nhằm tăng cường hiệu quả phòng dịch.

Tháng 3 là Tháng Thanh niên, gặp thời điểm dịch Covid-19 đang diễn biến phức tạp, hoạt động tham gia phòng, chống dịch bệnh là ưu tiên số một của tuổi trẻ thành phố Vinh, góp phần giúp nhân dân ổn định đời sống mọi mặt.

Ngay từ khi có thông tin dịch Covid-19, theo chỉ đạo của cấp trên, UBND phường đã thành lập Ban chỉ đạo phòng chống dịch. Các thành viên Ban chỉ đạo và các ban, ngành đã tuyên truyền về tác hại, nguy cơ lây lan và cách thức phòng tránh cho bà con nhân dân.

Qua báo chí – truyền thông và mạng xã hội, cùng với sự tuyên truyền qua phương tiện truyền thanh và tờ rơi về tận từng khối phố, gia đình, người dân trên địa bàn đã nắm rõ các thông tin về dịch Covid-19. Gần đây, dịch bệnh có xu hướng diễn biến ngày một phức tạp trên thế giới cũng như ở Việt Nam, chúng tôi tiếp tục đẩy mạnh tuyên truyền để bà con thực hiện nghiêm các quy định.

Cụ thể, những người ở nước ngoài và các tỉnh khác về đã được theo dõi, thống kê và tiến hành phân loại, yêu cầu tự cách ly tại nhà trong thời gian 14 ngày. Đồng thời, cử cán bộ y tế giám sát thường xuyên tình hình sức khỏe, đo thân nhiệt 2 lần/ngày, nếu có biểu hiện nghi vấn sẽ báo cáo ngay với Trung tâm Y tế thành phố để kịp thời xử lý. Hiện tại có 7 người đang cách ly tại nhà, tình hình sức khỏe ổn định, không có dấu hiệu nhiễm bệnh.

Phường Cửa Nam có nhiều điểm sinh hoạt công cộng và khách sạn, nhà nghỉ, gần các điểm buôn bán, kinh doanh sầm uất, người dân từ nước ngoài trở về khá nhiều. Chúng tôi đã chỉ đạo công an phường, cảnh sát khu vực tăng cường giám sát, cập nhập thông tin, số liệu hàng ngày để nắm bắt, dự báo kịp thời và thực hiện các giải pháp phòng ngừa. Nói tóm lại, không thể chủ quan, lơ là trong việc giám sát phòng dịch.

Theo kế hoạch, chúng tôi đặt ra 4 tình huống: Một là, Chưa có dịch bệnh xảy ra; Thứ hai, có 1 ca bệnh; Thứ ba, có trên 3 ca bệnh; Thứ tư, dịch bệnh bùng phát trên địa bàn. Hiện tại, đang trong tình huống thứ nhất, hệ thống cơ sở, trang thiết bị đã được chuẩn bị sẵn sàng cho các tình huống, đảm bảo việc cách ly người nhiễm bệnh tại trạm y tế.
